You know what i really hate when people on this site make fun of queer platonic relationships. The other day I explained what they were to my aroace little sister and she looked like a whole new world of possibilities had been opened up to her. She felt like because she’s not interested in people romantically or sexually and doesn’t want either of those things she could never have that kind of relationship with someone. Once I told her about qprs she told me that that was exactly the kind of relationship she wanted. Like qprs are important. They’re not just friendship, their a different kind of relationship that are so important to so many people and people making them into a joke is so damaging to young aroace people still figuring things out.

things we need to normalize

fat boys wearing makeup
curvy and or fat butches
nonbinary people who wear makeup, and those who don’t
nonbinary people who wear feminine clothes, and those who don’t
trans boys who wear makeup
trans girls who don’t wear makeup
non white, thin, masculine looking non binary people
genderfluid people who dress femininely when identifying as male, and vice versa
bisexual/pansexual people in m/f relationships
lesbians in a relationship with a trans girl or non binary person
gays in a relationship with a trans guy or non binary person
fat trans people
cis/het aces (especially in relationships)
people in queer platonic relationships
terfs aren’t real feminists (i accidentally put ‘radfems’ originally but i intended to say terfs. anyone else had a brain glitch lately?)
and last but not least, pedos don’t belong in the lgbt+ community :)
